ABOUT US

Candy's Creek Cherokee Elementary Garden is a local school garden that works to bring together school and community members of all ages from the Cleveland area. We are working to build a garden that will allow our students to learn lessons (about food production & distribution, life cycles, food webs, how to tend to a garden) and contribute to their community. We hope that our garden will allow more members of our community to become involved with our school and the education of our children through building, planting, growing, and maintaining the garden, along with sharing lessons with our students both virtually and in person (when able). Students will be given the opportunity to try new foods and we plan to donate our surplus to one of our local food distribution services. We encourage you to join us and contribute towards making a difference in our school and community.
